When it comes to Garmin tracking collars, we have seen a many different variants over the years. Starting with the DC20 way back in 2007, we have since seen the DC30, DC40, DC50, and then finally the T5 family of collars. For the last decade the T5 has been the go-to tracking collars for Garmin GPS systems. This is all about to change with the introduction of the Garmin T20 Tracking Collar.

We have just received word from Garmin that all newly manufactured Garmin TT15 Mini receivers and Garmin T5 Mini receivers will no longer be compatible with the Garmin Astro 320 handhelds. This is a result of a change in the hardware inside the TT15 Mini and T5 Mini collars due to component shortages.

The Garmin Delta Simple (Delta SE) is Garmin’s latest release into their Delta series of e-collars. The Garmin Delta series are moving their focus more on the everyday pet side of the market. It is designed to be simple and easy to use, with clearly labeled buttons, no settings to worry about, and simple two dog selector switch.

Garmin just (August 17, 2022) release software update v2.35 for the Garmin TT15X collar and Garmin T5X collar. This update included several improvements and fixes! This is labeled as a "recommended" update.

Garmin just (June 2, 2021) release software update 3.60 for the TT15 Mini and T5 Mini collars. This update included improvements to the GPS function of the collars. Update size 1.11 MB.
