The Lion Country Supply Champion Blank Pistols are our exclusive line of blank pistols, especially designed to be an affordable option for dog training, field trials, and track and field starting. Our Champion Pistols are available in .22, .32, and 209 primer calibers. These pistols are full-sized with wooden grips and full blued alloy metal body. All models of our pistol feature a swing-out cylinder, making loading and unloading quick and easy.

Our LCS Shotgun Primer Inserts allow you to train your dog using a lower cost and more efficient alternative to buying a primer pistol or other blank pistol. Shotgun Primer Inserts can be used in any training activity where you would normally need a shotgun like gun-shy training and simulating a shot for retrievers, giving your dog a more realistic training scenario using your hunting shotgun or a shotgun of your choosing. Professional trainers often use shotguns instead of a blank pistol because it teaches the dog to follow the direction that the gun barrel is pointed. This is great training to prepare a dog for retrieving from a blind or heavy cover. Our specially designed brass inserts are designed to fit perfectly into any breach-loading shotgun and has a CNC machined socket for any standard sized 209-shotgun primer.

One of the first jobs you have when training a hunting dog is to make sure he or she is not gun shy. Hunting dogs are smart creatures.
