The Garmin PRO 550 Plus Training and Tracking System is a revolutionary e-collar training system that takes everything we love about the PRO 550 and adds tracking abilities to it. This is a system that we are really excited about. It has simple controls, futuristic design, and ease of use. It is everything that is great about the PRO 550 while being easier to operate than the Alpha 100.

I had a very memorable hunt with my 14 year old son, Hunter recently. Pheasants Forever conducts a youth hunt annually to keep the sport alive and in front of our youth. Tim Rowan the Youth coordinator for this specific hunt takes great pride in his chapter North Central PA Chapter 630. Everyone was very welcoming and hospitable. When we arrived there was a booth with free food and beverages, a beautiful pheasant trailer where a volunteer taught your children how to properly clean their harvest, and each hunt was kicked off with a briefing by Tim around safety and respect for the dogs and their owners.

I have worked for Lion Country Supply for almost two years now. I have always been a customer of the company, continuously needing Collars, leads, E-collars for my hounds; Lion Country is and always will be my GO TO place. When I was hired the management staff was all well aware of my hunting background and knowledge with all the product that I still buy and use today. Every September during bear season in New Hampshire, my father and I always spend the long twelve hour journey north with our Plott hounds loaded in the bed of the truck to stay for a long weekend to hopefully fill our bear tags.

We can feel it. Can you? We know your dog can. The days are getting shorter and nights are getting cooler. The fall hunting season is right around the corner and all of the hard work you and your dog have put in is about to pay off. Some say there are four seasons in a year but at Lion Country Supply we know there are only two.

Hi, I'm Eric with Lion Country Supply and I'm here today to talk to you about the one of the newest e-collars by Dogtra. It's called the Dogtra ARC, which stands for Advanced Receiver Concept. The main point of this collar is that the receiver is more ergonomically shaped. When your dog is wearing it, it looks as if your dog has a regular collar on. As you can see it is much lower profile, which is helpful if you not want it to be seen as much or you don't want it sticking out as far to be bagging off brush while you're running your dog.
A little bit about the collar itself. It has a three-quarter mile range and it is made for low to medium stimulation levels. So if you have an extremely stubborn dog this wouldn't be the collar you'd want for it. However, if you have a dog that's not that stubborn this is a great system.

I recently got my hands on the Dogtra ARC, which is Dogtra's new and low-profile remote dog training system. Designed to be very slim and blend in with the collar around your dog's neck, it is the perfect discreet dog training device. The hand-held is small and light weight, making it great for carrying around your neck or in a holster on your belt. The Dogtra ARC training system is suitable for wearing out for a run at the park, while still allowing you to have that e-collar control of your dog without the anti-electronic collar looks from strangers.

In my first blog post I reviewed the five basic types of e-collars available at Lion Country Supply, and in the second blog post I reviewed selecting the best training e-collar for your dog. Today I continue this e-collar series with a post about tracking e-collars, considered by many to be the ultimate in the entire e-collar line up.
