Garmin on 8/7/2024, released a new software update for the Garmin PRO 550 Plus handheld. The Garmin Pro 550 Plus software should be kept up-to-date in order to take advantage of improvements and bug fixes. This release, Version 4.60, adds several new features to the PRO 550 Plus.

Lion Country Supply will be holding our annual Bird Dog Days event this year on August 23^rd and 24^th. On Friday we will be doing in-store specials and an online sale. On Saturday, we will be hosting a Chukar Challenge at Warriors Mark Wingshooting Lodge and Kennels.

Garmin this July 2024, release software updates for several of their newest GPS systems. The first batch was released on July 16 and later batch on July 23rd. Garmin on July 16 software version 6.80 for the Alpha 300 and Alpha 300i handhelds, along with version 8.0 for the Alpha 200 and Alpha 200i handhelds. On July 24th, Garmin released software version 2.07 for the TT25 and T20 collars. As well as, software version 2.14 for the Garmin LTE collar.

When we think of our furry companions, we often imagine them bringing joy and warmth into our lives. However, it’s essential to be aware that, like any household pet, dogs can inadvertently pose fire risks if certain precautions are not taken.

Dogtra recently released a new update for their Dogtra Pathfinder 2 GPS System that included a big new feature and some additional fixes. In January 2024, Dogtra’s 1.0.13 update gave the Pathfinder 2 systems an E-Fence ability, now with this update they are adding Public land overlays.

Garmin recently released software update v6.72 for Alpha 300 and Alpha 300i handhelds. This software update caused an issue where the handhelds deleted all saved dogs from your “Dog List” but active dogs and those saved in groups. Luckily there is a fix for this that you can do to restore your saved dog lists.
