Local hunter has successful first pheasant hunt

Lion Country Supply would like to congratulate local hunter Cortlynd Rhoades for a successful first pheasant hunt. This young man came into Lion Country Supply recently and said he needed a new shotgun to hunt pheasants. He purchased a Remington 870 Compact youth model and the following day promptly harvested two pheasants while hunting over an energetic Brittany on State Game Lands 158, Cambria County.

Cortlynd's photo is worth a thousand words and by the joy expressed in his smile, we believe this hunt has opened the door to a lifetime of outdoor experiences for Cortland.

Lion Country would also like to thank state trooper and avid sportsman Eugene Jenkins for mentoring Cortlynd through this pheasant hunt. This is a huge success for Cortlynd, Eugene J., and all Pennsylvania sportsmen.
