Kennel Decks

Our composite, poly-resin kennel deck sections are the ideal answer for keeping your valuable dogs up and off the ground or kennel run surfaces when they are simply lounging around. Lying on the ground or concrete surfaces is simply not a good thing, for dogs or humans! This only promotes later joint problems and arthritis.

Using treated 2x4's to make your decking is rather expensive and not really a good idea. I personally would never use any form of treated lumber around my dogs. Why? They put a lot of weird chemicals and preservatives in that stuff to make it last longer. Dogs licking or chewing on it cannot be a good thing. Plus, despite what the lumber guys say, that treated stuff will eventually dry out, splinter, crack and disintegrate. I know; my porch decks at home are living proof.

The better idea is to get some of our kennel decking and be done with the job. The panels are 2' by 4' and can be linked together (clips included) to form larger areas if needed.
