Garmin Software Updates October 20 2022

Garmin today (October 20, 2022) released a series of software updates across multiple of their dog training and tracking devices. These devices include the Alpha 200/Alpha 200i handhelds, Alpha 100 handheld, T5X/TT15X dog devices, Astro 430 handheld, and their Delta SE handheld. Since they released so many updates in one batch, we thought it would be best to do a single article discussing the updates instead of our normal per device announcement. All of the software updates released today were minor fixes and improvements; please see below for more details on each software update.

Garmin Alpha 200 and Alpha 200i Handhelds Software Update v6.00

The software update for the Alpha 200 and Alpha 200i has a change severity rating of recommend and includes a fix and improvements to BirdsEye.

Change Log:

Fixed training bar not allowing for dogs paired with Share Code.

Improvements to BirdsEye direct downloads.

Garmin TT15X and T5X Dog Device Software Update v2.44

The software update for the TT15X and T5X dog devices has a change severity rating of recommend and improves sleep mode.

Change Log:

Improved “Wake” from “Sleep Mode” time.

Garmin Astro 430 Handheld Software Update v3.80

This software update did not include a change severity rating and includes bug fixes and improvements. This update will take your Astro 430 handheld from the current software version of 3.50 to version 3.80.

Garmin Alpha 100 Handheld Software Update v8.30

The software update for the Garmin Alpha 100 handheld has a change severity rating of recommend and is focused around improvements to “Sleep Mode”. This update will take your Alpha 100 handheld from the current software version of 8.00 to version 8.30.

Change Log:

Improved collar “Wake” functionality.

Pop up message if a collar “Wake” failed.

Garmin Delta SE Software Update v1.01

The software update for the Garmin Delta SE has a change severity rating of recommend and fixes a few issues. This is the first software update for the newly released Garmin Delta SE.

Change Log:

Fixed mass storage icon.

Fixed LED when charge complete.
