The Better Trainers Jacket is built for serious dog work, long days in the field, and trainers who actually use their pockets instead of admiring them. This waist-length training jacket features a water-resistant nylon shell, warm black flannel lining, and a corduroy collar that adds comfort without pretending this is a fashion coat.
Designed with trainers in mind, the left chest pocket is perfectly sized for an e-collar transmitter or GPS handheld. Just above it, a strap and D-ring give you a secure attachment point for a whistle lanyard. Two oversized front cargo pockets include elastic shotgun shell loops and Velcro-secured flaps to keep everything where it belongs. Behind those are hidden side-access pockets, ideal for check cords, bumpers, or training dummies.
Around back, a low-profile game pouch provides enough room for birds during training or hunting without adding bulk. When visibility matters, the blaze orange option meets AKC Hunt Test dress code requirements and complies with blaze orange laws in states that require it.
Functional, durable, and surprisingly good-looking, this jacket works just as well in town as it does in the field.

Warm-weather hunts can be some of the best days in the field—but they also come with real risks for your dog. Unlike us, dogs don’t sweat to regulate body temperature. They rely on panting, and when they’re running hard, that system can get overwhelmed fast.
There is a lot of preparation and commitment involved in puppy rearing; it's a serious undertaking that with careful planning before the puppies arrive will increase the puppy's chances of survival. Hypothermia is a leading cause of puppy mortality.
