The DT Systems H20 1850 Plus is a long-distance e-collar trainer and a locator beeper all in one unit, made especially for upland hunters and their pointers! The e-collar has a 1-mile range by use of the Maxx-Range antenna woven into the collar strap. The beeper horn has a 450 yd. audible range and is fixed onto the collar permanently, so there are no worries about it sliding around the collar strap to where it hurts your dog’s ears. Both the transmitter and the receiver/collar/beeper horn are 100% waterproof; the transmitter is even buoyant and floats in the water.
The transmitter fits in your hand comfortably and has an easy-grip coating to prevent slipping. Choose between 16 stimulation levels on the intensity dial on the transmitter, then press the upper button for nick/momentary stimulation or the lower button for continuous stimulation.
The side buttons on the transmitter allow you to set the beeper locator to Locate, Run/Point or Point Only. Locate mode only sounds the beep while you are looking for the dog, Run/Point mode beeps every 5 sec. while the dog is running and every 2 sec. while the dog is pointing, and Point-Only mode only beeps when the dog is pointing.
The collar strap with a built-in antenna fits necks 14-23 in. and should not be trimmed or have additional holes added due to the antenna fibers in the strap.
Includes a basic obedience training book by renowned professional trainer George Hickox. The DT Systems H20 1850 Plus can be expanded to a two-dog system by purchasing an extra collar: DT System 1850 Plus Extra Collar.
