The Garmin Quick Release Lanyard is a simple but smart accessory for keeping your handheld secure in the field. Designed to be used alongside a holster, this lanyard adds an extra layer of protection by tethering your device to your belt loop while still allowing full use.
The lanyard threads through your belt loop and fastens into the holster, keeping your handheld from hitting the ground if it slips loose. At 18 inches long, it provides enough slack to comfortably operate your handheld while it remains attached.
When you need to detach the device, dual quick-pinch release buttons allow you to disconnect instantly. Reattaching is just as easy. Simply slide and snap the pieces back together, similar to a plastic dog collar buckle. The lanyard is constructed from braided nylon and high-impact plastic and is fully compatible with the Garmin Alpha.

Warm-weather hunts can be some of the best days in the field—but they also come with real risks for your dog. Unlike us, dogs don’t sweat to regulate body temperature. They rely on panting, and when they’re running hard, that system can get overwhelmed fast.
There is a lot of preparation and commitment involved in puppy rearing; it's a serious undertaking that with careful planning before the puppies arrive will increase the puppy's chances of survival. Hypothermia is a leading cause of puppy mortality.
