LCS Andy Purnell's AKC Field Champion Gundogs place in the Northeast Beagle Gundog Federation / Better Beagling magazine trial of Champions.

This past weekend we took a couple of our AKC Field Champion Gundogs to the Northeast Beagle Gundog Federation / Better Beagling magazine trial of Champions. This event is one of the biggest in the Northeast as it is combined with our federation Championship. We can always count on competing with the best trial hounds from New England to the Mid-Atlantic. We had a very good day on Friday with FCGD DeadRiver Hare Razin? Ruby winning the 15? female class for the 2nd year in row.

My wife Lisa ran our young male, FCGD Purnell's DeadRiver Ranger to 5th in the 15? male class. The NEBGF Championship trial is held yearly at the Lebanon County Beagle Club in SE PA.

This year we battled unreasonable heat and some very good hounds but a great time was had by all. We also ran 3 of Ruby's puppies in the Derby stake and had 2 of them called back to the winner's pack , with Purnell's Dead River Hare Razin? Gem placing 3rd.
