    Garmin Software Update Announcement

     

    Garmin today (February 22, 2024) released a series of software updates across multiple of their dog training and tracking handhelds. These devices include the Alpha 300, Alpha 300i, Alpha 200, Alpha 200i, and Alpha 10 handhelds. All the software updates released today added a few features, fixed some bugs, and made overall app improvements; please see below for more details on each software update.

                          

    Garmin Alpha 300 and Alpha 300i Handhelds Update (Version v6.62)

    The software updates for the Alpha 300 and Alpha 300i handhelds added a new feature and made several other improvements.

    Change log:

    • Added map distance rings
    • Added available file system space to map manager
    • Improved features related to OM+
    • Support improvements made to the Alpha App
    • Updated translations

     

    Garmin Alpha 200 and Alpha 200i Handhelds Update (Version v7.70)

    The software updates for the Alpha 200 and Alpha 200i handhelds added a new feature and fixed a few user interface issues.

    Change log:

    • Added map distance rings
    • Support improvements made to the Alpha App
    • User Interface bug fixes

     

    Garmin Alpha 10 Handhelds Update (Version v3.05)

    The software updates for the Alpha 10 handheld fixed an issue with the collar lights not working and made some support improvements to the app.

    Change log:

    • Fix changing collar lights not working
    • Support improvements made to the Alpha App
