Garmin has just released Software Version v7.21 for the Alpha 300, delivering a mix of new features, performance enhancements, and important system safeguards for hunters and dog handlers who depend on precision and reliability.
1. Fatigue Alerts App
The all-new Fatigue Alerts App has been added to help you monitor your dog's activity level more closely. This tool offers valuable insights into how long your dog has been active, helping prevent overexertion and improving field safety.
2. Inauthentic Battery Warning
This version includes a new warning message for inauthentic batteries. If you're using third-party or counterfeit batteries, you'll now receive a prompt. This ensures optimal performance and protects your Alpha 300 from potential damage.

Garmin continues to refine the user experience for global users by updating translations across menus and functions—ideal for international handlers.
4. General Bug Fixes & Performance Enhancements
As always, this release includes general bug fixes and system optimizations to improve stability and responsiveness in the field.
