A Great Start to the Fall 14′ Season!

The Pennsylvania 2014-15 Hunting season is on! We are having a great start this year,  in fact maybe the best we’ve had in a long while. The great state of PA has started a great tradition by giving us an early season for youth small game hunters. It is a full week that starts a week before our normal opening day. This is a great opportunity to get the kids in the woods with relatively nice weather and smaller crowds. We took advantage by getting a few kids out with the beagles…

There isn't a better way to get and keep kids hunting than small game with dogs, whether your choice is rabbits with beagles or pheasant with a pointy dog. Here are a few pics from our last day hunt. The kids did very well with all aspects of the hunt.
