Made of smooth, durable plastic, the fountain threads securely onto the neck of most 20 oz., 1 liter, and 2 liter bottles with soda-style threads. Once filled, the weight of the bottle keeps the waterer in place, while the included plastic band or spring locks the bottle securely to the cage.
