- When we looked at the new Dogtra Edge this past winter, we were truly impressed! Dogtra has thought this system through & it includes every feature imaginable in a remote trainer, plus a few new features never before seen. The compact transmitter and receiver utilize the latest electronic and battery technology to provide pure performance in a solid, waterproof unit.
Some of the key features of the Edge include one-mile range, constant, momentary, and vibration stimulation, and a uniquely interchangeable rheostat dial that allows you to view 127 levels of stimulation on a lighted LED screen, or replace it with a click dial (supplied with the unit) that allows you to view the level of stimulation from 1-8 on the top of the unit. In addition, this unit includes an integral LED locator light on the collar receiver that activates with a touch of a button from your transmitter, plus you can change light colors to match the transmitter button color and collar strap color! Finally, the Edge is expandable up to four dogs - and you can add the additional receivers as you need them.
The unit is waterproof and shockproof, has rechargeable batteries on both the transmitter and receiver & the transmitter has a sturdy, built-in belt clip. If you need a reliable unit for big running bird dogs or night running hounds, the Edge is an excellent choice.
