Introducing the Dogtra Handsfree Plus Series

We are proud to announce the newest e-collar systems by Dogtra, the Handsfree Plus Series. The Dogtra Handsfree Plus systems include the 1900S Handsfree Plus, 1902S Handsfree Plus, ARC Handsfree Plus, and the Square device.

This new line of Dogtra e-collar systems will be replacing the existing line-up of handsfree e-collar systems that have been one the market for the past few years. These systems were the first e-collar systems to introduce the handsfree-training technology.

New to the Handsfree Plus series is the ability to add up to 14 Handsfree Square devices to a single transmitter.  Each of these Squares can be programmed to perform a different action. For example, you can have one as a vibration and another as a nick (momentary) stimulation. The handsfree Squares have to be within 33 feet of the transmitter to be able to properly perform its programmed function.

Dogtra ARC Handsfree Plus System

The Dogtra ARC Handsfree Plus system is a 3/4 mile range e-collar, with all the training features of the original Dogtra ARC E-Collar System. New to the ARC Handsfree Plus is the ability to add additional ARC extra collars to your transmitter, no longer is the ARC a 1-dog or 2-dog locked in system.

Dogtra 1900S Handsfree Plus System

The Dogtra 1900S Handsfree Plus E-collar system is the upgraded version of the Dogtra 1900S Handsfree, which was the first handsfree system produced by Dogtra and is based on the best-selling Dogtra 1900S E-Collar System. New to Dogtra 1900S Handsfree Plus system is the ability to pair up to 14 Squares to the handheld. Unlike the Dogtra ARC Handsfree Plus E-Collar system the Dogtra 1900S Handsfree Plus is a single dog system and cannot be expanded to a multi-dog system. Dogtra 1902S Handsfree Plus System

The Dogtra 1902S Handsfree Plus System is the 2-Dog version of the 1900S Handsfree Plus System. The 1902S system comes pre-programmed with black and orange receiver. Unlike the 1900S version that has two buttons on the side to control nick or constant stimulation, the 1902S transmitter gets the addition of the toggle switch to alternate between nick and constant stimulation, the buttons on the side of the transmitter will control the stimulation for the black and orange receivers. The 1902S transmitter also gains an additional button on the front face of the transmitter to control the pager (vibration) function of the orange receiver.

Dogtra Handsfree Square

The Dogtra Handsfree Square can be paired up to any of the handsfree systems, both the original and the Plus systems. A Handsfree Square is programmed to perform a single action when the button is pressed, at up to 33 feet from your transmitter. This gives the ability for the trainer to keep the transmitter secure in their pocket and have both hands free to be working the dog. The Square can be placed on the trainer’s wrist, but we’ve also seen them put around the butt of a shotgun, or any other convenient place the trainer chooses. With the ability to add up to 14 Squares to a transmitter, it enables the ability for multiple trainers to now have Squares on them to train one dog as long as they are within 33 feet of the paired transmitter.

Conclusion

The new Dogtra Handsfree Plus E-Collar System are not for every dog handler. They are designed to provide hands free training, freeing up the trainers hands while still allowing the trainer to quickly use a set training feature quickly when needed. For a trainer that is constantly changing the stimulation levels or switching between stimulation and vibration, this system might not be for you. For those that are going to be switching between stimulation and vibration you have the option to use the transmitter like any other e-collar system or you can purchase the original Dogtra 1900S or Dogtra ARC that does not include the handsfree ability. With the new feature of being able to add up to 14 Squares to a single transmitter, a trainer is now able to create new training scenarios and have situations where multiple trainers have Squares for the same dog.
