Garmin Software Update v6.72 Issues

Important news on the latest Garmin Alpha 300 software update!

Garmin recently released software update v6.72 for Alpha 300 and Alpha 300i handhelds. This software update caused an issue where the handhelds deleted all saved dogs from your “Dog List” but active dogs and those saved in groups.

Luckily there is a fix for this that you can do to restore your saved dog lists. This will get all saved information back until they can get a corrected software update out.

Restoring your dog list:

With your Alpha 300 or Alpha 300i handheld.

Go to "Reset"

Then select "Restore Now".

This should reset your handheld to before the software update and restore all lost dogs within your "Dog List".
