Benelli's & Spring Gobblers

Benelli shotguns have proven themselves again this spring in Pennsylvania. With a combination of Benelli Super Black Eagle shotguns and Hevi-shot, my 19-year-old son, Connor, and I were fortunate to harvest two nice gobblers.Con's bird sported a 10-inch beard and spurs that measured almost 1 1/4 inches. My gobbler had a similar length beard, but shorter spurs. As a bonus, when I retrieved my bird I noticed it had white wings.
