Security Policy

Lion Country Supply, Inc. is committed to protecting consumer credit card data in compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Our alignment with this standard is reflected in the people, technologies and processes we employ. We conduct quarterly vulnerability scans in accordance with the PCI DSS requirements for our business model. We attest to our PCI compliance annually for both of our e-commerce and retail locations. More information on PCI DSS can be found at https://www.pcisecuritystandards.org.

Your order information is safe each time you place an order. Our e-commerce website utilizes industry standard Secure Socket Layer technology, commonly referred to as SSL. This type of software is the best technology available for insuring secure commerce transactions. It encrypts, using a department of defense approved algorithm, your personal and financial information including credit card number, name, address, etc. so that it cannot be read over the internet. It is the same secure encryption security you use for online banking.

Once your order information is transmitted to our servers it is stored in its encrypted format. When our staff look at your order in our inventory and order management system, they can never read the full contents of the credit card number. Lion Country Supply also goes above and beyond most merchants by employing advanced fraud detection controls and requiring that CVC card information be present for all orders.

The green lock in the upper left-hand corner of your browser address bar as well as the "https" prefix reflect that you are shopping safely and securely with lcsupply.com. More information on https and SSL can be found at https://https.cio.gov/faq/
