Polywad Spread-R Shotgun Shells are designed to quickly and evenly disperse the shot pattern for more birds in the bag. Perfect for those long hours in the field where you aren’t always shooting fresh, as it increases your coverage by 2-3 times. Polywad’s Dispersion Control Technology utilizes a post-wad disc to providing a strong, even spread with high velocity pellets on the fringe to minimize wounding of birds. Made especially for close-range small upland bird shooting of grouse, woodcock, chukar and quail, as well as small migratory bird hunting of dove, snipe and rails. These loads keep close shot birds table-worthy by eliminating tight pellet grouping in short distance shots. Extensively tested at both the range and field, with rave reviews from shotgunning experts and hunting enthusiasts alike.

Great Upland Loads
I use the 20 gauge #8 loads for grouse and woodcock on my annual trips to the Michigan U.P. They re just the ticket for the fast shooting in close cover and tight quarters one encounters in the alders of the North Woods. Wouldnt think of hunting those coverts without one of these in the right side barrel.

In fall of 2012 my hunting partner gave me couple boxes of 28 ga #8 Spred-R loads. Wow what a difference. My kill ratio on wild wild quail has more than doubled. My dog seems happier I know Im happier My wife recognizing this gave me a case of these as a 35th wedding anniversary gift. Heading to KA this weekend with only my 28.
