Love it but have a question
I am using this off label so that I can find my Labs in the dark. It works very well. Ive also used it for car repairs and crawlspaces and . . . well, the uses are pretty limitless. Much better than the little battery powered headlamps that wont hold a charge. I just have one question - how do you keep the light from falling off the mounting when you lean over? The light is heavy, and it just slides right off. Ive done a field expedient with two spring clips on the bottom sides of the tab on the light. But maybe theres something I can adjust?

more than your moneys worth
It is a little heavier than I would like but mine has been serving me well going on 2 years. The halo off the spot also makes a great walking light

Blood trail light
I purchased this light two years ago for the sole purpose of tracking a bow killed deer. Excellent light. Really makes it easier to trail a wounded deer. Sure beats most flashlights and it is hands free. Have found many other uses for it around the house and in the field. Good light to have with you when running beagles in the evening.

Dont waste your time and money!
I waited weeks for this bump cap/light combo because it was back ordered. When it finally arrived it didnt work. Charged it up.....still didnt work. I noticed the cover on the light was about half tightened. Took the cover off and the waterproof seal was only on half the lens so I fixed that. The soldering inside the light looks like my eight year old did it. Some of the connections looked like they only had one little drip of solder keeping the connection held. A couple of the solder points had broken and the wires were unconnected. This could have been one poorly made light out of one thousand hats. Sending back for a refund and buying a brand name and better built hat/light combo
I have seen many lights on the market but this one is tough to beat for the price. If you are looking for a light to buy I would look long and hard at this one. I think with a few upgrades it would beat any light on the market, and with the upgrades the price should be bout the same. The only down side is Hi/Lo setting, but it works for me. Wish they would make a pop cover for it. Thanks Mike Nye
Great light only thing I dont like is theres no pop covers to put on it when leaves are on

I was leary of this light because of the low price. The guys I hunt with paid 250. to 350. for theirs. My light competes very well and is only 99. If you are looking for a low cost light this is it. P.S. it is good for spot and to walk with
