First time using remote launchers and this has worked flawlessly. Puppy got away from me and launcher worked from a good 80-90 yards thankfully. Very happy with the purchase, function and reliability thus far.

Good launcher with only one fault for me.
The fault was sometime the thing would launch because the rolle rover the bar to lock the basket down somehow slipped out of the bar. Easy fix. Drilled a hole through the arm of the roller and the basket and set it then insert a stop pin in it. Have had this set for Im thinking about ten years and that was the only real problem. Did have a receiver go bad but it took better part of ten years to do it! Have had a couple different brands over the years and this is the most inexpensive and best!

Great launcher with a little hiccup
Launcher threw the crimp nut on the activation arm. Took a little adjusting to get it back on but has worked flawlessly ever since. Im going to buy 2 more but test in the garage a few times.

Universal Bird Launcher
The universal bird launcher is a great tool for teaching marking, for both beginners and intermediate. As your dog progresses it can be used for steady training. With these launchers you can train for the memory bird, the first step for blind retrievers. Just launch a bird or dummy, wait, then launch another. Send your dog for the second bird, then the first, so he has to remember. Conveniently you can do all of this without a helper.
