The great one is back!
I used the old version of this Tri-Tronics for nearly 10 years and was really upset when it was discontinued. I gave all of the receivers and chargers to my son who is still using them. Then I tried 3 other brands or models including another Garmin model and was very disappointed in all 3. The new LCG screens and menus are a nuisance. When I heard that Garmin brought back the old Sport Basic model, I rushed to get one. It is SO much better than the others, Thank you Garmin and thank you LCS for advertising that it was back.

Tri-Tronics Sport PRO review
Have been using the Sport PRO daily for a little over a year with no problem. I like the features and the simple and logical layout of this device. I particularly like the vibration and tone features that I use to remind Odie, my Brittany pup, what we are in the woods and fields for. I save the shock feature for when we have a spirited discussion on who is calling the shots. The light feature is a bonus especially for his last time outside before bedtime. It is a simple and rugged device.

my first E collar
Since this is my first e collar I dont have anything to compare it to but the options that it has on it is incredible. I am not always shocking my dog. I can escalate it so she can learn to what is going to happen if the behavior doesnt stop. Its been very helpful in her training.

Very happy with the Garmin Sport PRO. Small & light - very easy to carry & handle in the field. Easy to follow instructions & very simple to operate. Responds immediately upon pressing of the buttons - no lag. Had no problems with lost signal / poor reception.

I use the Garmin with two dogs so I have 2 collars and one transmitter. Been using it for 18 mos now and have had no failures or problems with the device. It charges quickly and holds a charge for a decent time. No problems in water, or snow either. I had a Garmin previously but they stopped making that one. Compared to my old model, the new one does not appear to be made as stoutly thinner collar material, lighter weight transmitter and receivers but I have not had any issues. The newer model has a bark collar setting which the old one did not.

Garmin Sport PRO - Top Notch Unit
I purchased the Garmin Sport Pro about 6-months ago, for use with my two black labs. We have tested the limits with this e-collar and it has stood up to every condition we throw at it, whether were duck hunting, or pheasant hunting. This unit is simply amazing. I would recommend it to any one looking for an e-collar as an avid sportsman or retriever trainer with up to three dogs.

Works great! Like the tone and vibrate features and the light on the collar is very handy around home when my dog is outside at night. The guy on the phone at lion country was very helpful as usual. If I had to do it all over again I would buy the same unit!

Sport pro users review
I had purchased the delta xs from another vendor than LCS and was lamenting not having a replacement for my old sport pro. Well soon after out comes the sport pro in a new version. I like thumb wheel control plus a no look approach. Alls good. Wish the numbers were bigger on the wheel but my eyes arent any younger. Would recommend but collar is still new. Looks well appointed. Would give 5 stars if numbers were as large as the old model.

This product is great for training my beagles. My first purchase of a training collar and I am definitely satisfied. Excellent customer support from Lion Country Supply!!!

Great collar, I use as a single unit, but its expandable up to 3 collars. I love that the handset is large enough to use easily, but still light enough to wear all day on a lanyard. Also has great battery life.

Nice, as advertised
Ive only had this collar for a month or so and havent used it much yet as pup is just 6 months old. But I have used the lights, the vibration, and the tone. The remote is much smaller and more easily managed than the old Tri-Tronics collar I had - Classic 70. But everything seemed to work as advertised and no complaints.
Garmin Sport PRO E-collar
Collar holds a charge very well..... Great Garmin product. The only reason I have given it a 4 star rating is because each time you turn the collar on you have to reconnect the collar to the remote. Not that this collar has a large learning curve but it becomes a pain doing that each time you use it. Other than that, no complaints what so ever, a great product.

In my 6 pluse yrs of dog handling this is the easiest unit to use would be great for beginners and pros. I also like that it is powerful and will work out past half a mile. Only thing I do not like is the size of the callor the strap is to narrow and makes it difficult to put on hyper dogs

Great replacement for the old tritronics sport
I had a tritronics sport basic and loved it. However, when I got a second dog I couldnt find an additional collar for it so I sold it and bought a dogtra. When I saw this setup come out I knew I had to try it out and Im glad I did. It has everything I liked about my old tritronics and so much more. I love having a tone and vibrate. The light will come in handing in the dark mornings and I think the built in bark limiter option is an awesome bonus. I think this is the best entry level controller out there. I also like that the controller is lighter than some of the other more professional trainer setups.
