Better LCS Game Bird Bag
A must have for training bird dogs with live birds, the LCS Game Bird Bag is the largest on the market at the lowest price! Great for game stewards on hunting preserves, dog trainers, and dog clubs planting birds for hunt tests and field trials. It also makes a great bumper bag for retriever training.
The spring-loaded steel top allows you to slip your hand in and out of the bag without birds escaping and keeps the birds secure when the bag is tucked away. The adjustable strap can either fit around your waist or over your shoulder and a brass name plate can be added upon request. Made of very durable nylon with black mesh side panels for ventilation, the Better Game Bird Bag also has a roomy side pocket perfect for gloves, hobbles or tethers. This bag has enough capacity for 14 quail, 8 pigeons, 4 chukar, or 2 pheasants and ducks. It is very easy to clean, by simply removing any leftover feathers, spraying down with the hose and hanging to dry in the sun.

I used this bag for 2 training seasons and the top started ripping, the bottom started to form holes, and finally the metal snapped making it not useable. I liked it before it started to wear down but wouldve liked to see it last longer than 2 seasons training one dog.

Local NSTRA and several trainers use these. I bought one and it works great, especially the top closure. Lost mine by not closing my tailgate, just ordered a new one

Good bird bag
You cant train birddogs without carrying birds to the field. This bag fills the bill for training or trialing. We usually carry 2 to 3 pigeons or a half a dozen quail with ease in this size bag, and at trials 8 birds are the norm. General quality is good and fairly durable. My personal bag is about 3 years old and our Club bags have lasted 6 to 8 years before we start to replace them. On the down side the pins that hold the metal band closure on my bag disappeared the first day out, I replaced them with some 12ga. copper wire bent so as not to be able to just fall out. Recently Ive noticed the mesh starting to separate from the nylon fabric near the top of the bag, I havent figured out how best to solve this problem but after the use Ive gotten out of the bag Im not going to sweat it. An optional Clip to secure the top of the bag would would be a worthwhile feature as it keeps birds from escaping when the bag is full and your trying to ride out to plant birds on horseback or 4 wheeler.
