Danner 453GTX 6” Field Shoes

Earlier this spring we learned that Danner was updating their original 452GTX to the new 453GTX.  We decided to put them in our catalog and I got a pair and starting wearing them extensively.  I have worn them to work everyday, used them when training my lab, and while scouting extensively prior to and during our spring turkey season. 

What has really impressed me about these boots is how lightweight and comfortable they are.  They have been completely comfortable at work and my feet do not overheat while wearing inside, or while in the field.  The have been 100% waterproof (Gore-Tex liner) and provide excellent arch support.  The tread design in moderate and is fine for indoor wear, and does not hold mud when using in wet conditions.

I am very hard on footwear, and so far there has been little sign of wear on the outsoles.  I recommend thse Danner 453 6″ Field Shoes and would buy them again.
