Bird Dog Days 2005 Wrap Up |
|
Dear Lion Country Supply Friends,
Well, once again we experienced another successful Customer Appreciation Day here in Lion Country. Aside from the early morning chill in the air, overall the weather was kind to us. Once again we went all out to show you, our customers, we truly appreciate your business.
We were able to get a lot of photos of old and new friends and their buddies, so check out the pics to see if you made it to our "Bird Dog Hall of Fame." It was once again unanimous: The food was fantastic and the company, unbeatable. Randy Barger once again out-did himself in preparing the 325-plus pound pig by stuffing it with 30 pounds of the best stuffing ever made. Mmm... delicious!
Special thanks to Brian Szczech, Sherry Ray Ebert, and the reps from both Benelli and Innotek for supporting the cause. Thanks also to our suppliers who donated doorprizes: Innotek, Benelli, Quality Wildlife Materials, Midwest Manufacturing, and Filson. Special thanks also to all the employees who went all out to make sure the day was a success. Most importantly, thanks to all of you. Without your loyalty none of this world ever be possible.
Keep checking back for details on next year's event. Hopefully we'll see you all again and for those of you who couldn't make it, we hope to see you then!
Stay tuned to our WebSite for upcoming customer appreciation events, seminars, etc. at LCSUPPLY.com and we hope you will remember Lion Country Supply when you need your Gundog and Hunting supplies. You can be sure that we won't forget our customers and that we appreciate your business. Hunt safely and have a great season!

Seminars |
Brian Szczech
Of Gold-Plated Gundogs ™ training video fame, Brian demonstrated a host of basic and advanced retrieving training techniques.
Brian Szczech has been training retrievers over the past twenty years. He has both the love and knowledge of retrievers it takes to make training both effective and efficient. He is a member of the Innotek Pro Staff and is also sponsored by Mossy Oak, Flambeau, Winchester, and Avery Outdoors. He also travels the country giving seminars on training and training equipment. Brian's unique style of training has led him to the Grand many times, where he has passed many retrievers. He was the proud owner and trainer of GR. HR. CH. Super Shooter MH. and GR. HR. CH. Super Shoot'n Chelsea MH. His newest Gold Plated Gundog is GR. HR. CH. Fly Away Red Zoey MH. who is only the second Chesapeake Bay Retriever to achieve this title throughout the country. Not only has Brian trained hundreds of retrievers throughout his career, he has also recently authored and produced three videos for the avid trainer. |

Sherry Ray Ebert
Sherry demonstrated her 32 years of training know-how, wowing the crowd with techniques from her video, Training Setters and Continental Breeds.
Sherry Ray Ebert is recognized worldwide as one of the foremost authorities on training English Setters. For 32 years Sherry was part of the Harold and Sherry Ray team that trained and campaigned the famed Smith Setters. During this period, she helped develop 22 champions including the Field Trial Hall of Fame inductees Tomoka and The Performer. Today Sherry trains publicly in North Dakota and works with setters, Brittanies, German Shorthairs and English Pointers. Sherry stresses the only differences between a top-notch gun dog and a field trial performer is range, so the training is the same. The non-abusive methods shown are those of a master trainer and work well on both strong willed and more sensitive dogs. You are invited to bring your pointer along and have Sherry work with you and your dog. |

Comments from our Customers |
Had a great time. Thanks to all of you who put this on.
-Dave and Kathy Brown
Great Day Buck: We had a wonderful time at the Pig Roast and Seminars. As usual, your staff was courteous and extremely helpful. We talked to many "dog people", enjoyed their dogs and answered questions about our large Liver German Shorthairs. Keep up the good work and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.
