This great stand-alone beeper from SportDog is the most versitile beeper available! It allows you to choose from 9 different tones (including lifelike hawk and bobwhite) and will operate along or remotely with many SportDog transmitters. The completely waterproof speaker produces clear tones that audible up to 500 yards, depending on conditions and your hearing. There is a unique rubber base through which the collar strap passes to help prevent it from sliding.
When used with a remote transmitter, you can turn the beeper on and off and use it as a locator. It has three different modes:
1. Quartering when dog is moving/point beep when stationary
2. Silent when dog is moving/point beep when stationary.
3. Silent when moving/silent when stationary.
Mode 2 is handy has is allows you to use a traditional bell in conjunction with the beeper, and mode 3 is especially nice when hunting spooky, wild birds and the only time you want the unit to sound it when you activate the remotely operated locate button from your transmitter.
Uses a 3-volt lithium battery (included).
