This system comes with 500 ft. of 20 guage boundary wire (1/2 acre) that you can configuration to keep your dog safely in your yard and/or keep him away from out-of-bounds areas such as gardens and pools. Your dog hears a tone as he approaches the border and feels a correction if he continues to the boundary. The compact (2.5 oz) water-resistant collar receiver operates on a user-replaceable, long-life 6-Volt battery and is safe for dogs over 5 lbs.

How It Works:
A radio signal travels from the Fence Transmitter through a buried wire, marking the boundaries you wish to set for your dog. Your dog wears a Receiver Collar that detects the signal at the boundary. As your dog approaches the boundary, the receiver issues a warning tone. If he proceeds further, he receives a safe but startling Static Correction, instructing him to stay in the containment area you've established. Boundary flags are a temporary visual aid for your pet; remove them after training.
